My favourite face moisturiser...

Absolutely love this Clinique moisturising gel! It sinks into my skin within seconds and leaves my face feeling SO soft and nourished.

If you have combination to oily skin, this would be perfect for you. There is a lotion available too, but I find it a bit too greasy to work with.

I have bought several bottles of this moisturiser, and sometimes I will experiement with another cream for a few weeks, but I always end up returning to this, subsequently falling in love with it YET again :)

What is your favourite face moisturiser?

I am loving...

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant and Lip Protectant
Amazing little multi-talented product, how I adore thee...

This humble pot has at least 8 very useful purposes:

As an in-flight moisture boost to prevent your skin from drying out

Sweep over your legs after shaving or waxing to prevent dryness or irritation

Relieve minor cases of sunburn

For a perfectly shaped eyebrow arch, simply smooth brows into place with a dab of Eight Hour Cream

Save and protect your skin from drying sun, wind and minor skin irritations

It's the perfect antidote for rough heels and soles

Use on your eyelids, cheekbones and lips to give them a fresh, dewy glow

Add to dry cuticles to keep them soft, supple and perfectly manicured

I use my little pot for all of the above. Especially love how well it works to soften my heels and keeps my brows in place.

And I have always loved the lip balm - SPF15, moisturising and nourishing...can't ask for more :)

Saturday shopping

I haven't done one of these posts for a while now, simply because I am trying to save up for my New York trip in September...

But on a quick trip to town yesterday I ended up picking up a few new things after all :)
Gorrrrrrgeous lace up cuff ankle boots from New Look! LOVE the turn down cuff & fleece!
(£29.99)

Pretty Illamasqua sheer lipgloss in Lily-Rose, a warm raspberry pink.
(£12.50)

Estee Lauder brow setting gel. This clear gel is supposed to keep the brows in place all day!
(£11.50)

Sleek kajal eyeliner for a smudged saturday night eye look :)
(£3.99)

After hearing nice things about 17's lipsticks, I decided to pick up this 17 Mirror Shine lipstick in Nudist Peach. Very smooth and moisturising. Love already!
(£4.49)

2 for £4 in Boots and Superdug on my favourite eye makeup removal pads. I have raved enough about these already on this blog, but a definite can't live without for me!

And on a random note, my boyfriend's sister is having a baby in, well...any day now, so I picked up a few irresistible outfits. Baby clothes are SO freakin' cute! I really enjoyed picking these up from Boots and Debenhams ♥

Anybody else been shopping this weekend? :)

Blogger Help: Where can I buy this in the UK?

EOS Lip Balm
I know I can order these online, but does anybody know of a UK shop that sell these? I want to have a look at them first + smell them!

I have searched many, many shops, but alas, no Eos lip balm... :(
EOS lip balm is 95% organic, 100% natural, and paraben and petrolatum free. Packed with antioxidant-rich vitamin E, soothing shea butter and jojoba oil, eos keeps your lips moist, soft and sensationally smooth.

Directions: Twist off top. Pucker up. Smooth on. Smile.

They are too cute, I need one!

My Clinique skincare routine

I change my skincare A LOT, as I quickly get bored and want to try new products.

But I always go back to Clinique, and when I do, I realise nothing beats it! Nothing makes my skin feel more awake, clean and fresh.

I am currently having a love affair with Clinique (again!) and here is what I do on most days, morning and night.

Cleanse:
I willl use one of these to remove my makeup.

Wash-Away Gel cleanser is perfect for night time as it is cooling and tingling. This is great for when my skin is especially oily.

Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser is a creamy white mousse which lathers with a bit of water. It makes my skin very soft and is very mild, gentle and moisturising.

Take The Day Off is perfect for the morning. I rub it in my skin (no water) before I rinse well.

After this my skin is well prepared for the 3-Step skin care regime...

3 - Step:

I think people are pretty familiar with the 3-Step system.

Step 1 (cleanse) is the liquid facial soap. I have it in oily combination to oily. I only need a small pump of this soap to clean my entire face really well. This will remove the remainder of your makeup & take care of excess oiliness etc.

Step 2 (exfoliate) is the clarifying lotion. This makes all the difference. It is pretty strong, but I love what it does. This deflakes the skin's surface to smooth and reveal clearer skin. (This also works as spot treatment!)

Step 3 (moisturise) is my favourite part. The Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel is simply one of a kind. No other moisturiser sinks into my skin as quick, and makes my face feel as soft as a baby's bum! Even hours after applying this, I can touch my cheek and it seriously feels like silk. I have the gel one, not the lotion one, as my skin tends to be oily.

More moisture:

On some days my skin needs extra moisture. More than what my darling Dramatically Different can offer.
I will then use Superdefense, which has an SPF of 25! This is a thick and luxurious cream.

I use Clinique's All About Eyes cream every day. It is peach in colour, light in consistency, full of moisture and feels great on my delicate eye area.

Exfoliation:

Once a week I will exfoliate with either of these two. I love them both. They are not too rough on the skin, smell nice (minty!) and they leave my skin amazingly soft!

I hope that was somewhat informative ;)

Let me know if you use Clinique and is as happy with it as me!

Clinique, Body Shop & a girly book...

Happy Saturday shopping, darlings!

So I finally got my hands on the yummy Clinique bonus gift at House of Fraser!

I  have to say I am most excited about the makeup bits
as I already own two of the skincare items.

The Shimmering Stripes Powder Blusher in Almond Blossom (comes with a cute brush too!) is divine. It gives me the most gorgous healthy bronzed glow!

♥ The High Impact Curling Mascara looks interesting... I haven't tried it yet, but it's definitely going on first thing tomorrow morning.

Long Last Glosswear in Bonfire is a very pretty deep red.

...

In order to get the free gift, I had to buy two or more Clinque skincare or makeup items. It was the last day of the offer, and unfortunately the shelves were a bit empty (baaaaad House of Fraser!), so Turnaround Serum was sold out :(

Had to do some quick thinking, and instead went with one of the items on my wishlist and one sensible back up...

I already have a big bottle of the Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel, but it is almost empty and instead of trying a new moisturizer, I decided to get a back-up as I am really happy with my Dramatically Different. It makes my face super smooth and non-greasy :)

I also went to Body Shop...

The Body Shop Shimmer Cube in 06. Gorgeous neutral eyeshadow palette.

Finally I stumbled across a book with loads of good tips and pretty pictures in it...

Coleen's Real Style

I have always found Coleen pretty, and I adore her outfits!

I haven't actually read the book yet (only just got home 2 hours ago), but on browsing through it
it looks like it's filled with great tips and inspirational pictures - not bad for £1.99 :D

What did you think of my Saturday shopping? :)

Clinique wishlist...

I love Clinique, especially their skin care range. My skin just can't get enough of it! I'm already a devoted fan of the 3 step system, and I own quite a few different Clinique products (9 all together - I counted! :D), but recently I find myself craving more...

Looking through their website this afternoon, I think I have found some new (to me!) products that look interesting...

Take The Day Off Cleansing Milk

Redness Solutions Soothing Cleanser

Even Better Skin Tone Correcting Moisturizer SPF 20

Redness Solutions Daily Relief Cream

Turnaround Concentrate Visible Skin Renewer

Even Better Clinical Dark Spot Corrector

Redness Solutions Urgent Relief Cream

And if I buy 2 of these products from House of Fraser, I get this great free gift!

I adore the Clinique mini sets, such a great way to discover new products. The Almond Blossom blusher looks devine, and I'd love to try that self-sun...

Now I just need to settle on 2 of the above products...

So I was wondering if any of you could recommend either of them?
I'd love to hear some reviews before I run out and buy :)
