New Barry M pressed trio eyeshadows!

Yeeeeeeeey!

I am so excited about these new eyeshadow trios/palettes from Barry M! I mean, who doesn't love Barry M's Dazzle Dusts?! Now you can get their pressed shadows too!

Here is what Barry M says about their new shadows:
Our new pressed trio eyeshadows are super soft and creamy and contain the antioxidant Vitamin E.
The easy to blend and long lasting formula delivers intense, highly pigmented colour in a convenient compact with applicator included.

There are some lovely colours in these trios and here's my favourite ones:

Golden Goddess

Smoky Seduction

Divine Destiny

Lavender Lullaby

Pretty Pastels

Not bad for £5.95...

I will definitely be buying these as soon as they are out in Superdrug
(they are already online, but I like swatching before I buy...)

More gorgeous trios here :)

What do you think about the new Barry M trio eyeshadows?

Monthly favourites

March

Neutrogena Deep Clean Invigorating Scrub
I first discovered this when I got a little sample of it in a magazine. I used it twice, fell in love, and now I own a big bottle of it :D

This scrub has energising microbeads which exfoliate my skin. It's gentle, but at the same time I can really feel that it is doing my skin some good. It's turns into a lovely soft foam when you rub it into your skin & it also has that cooling sensation, which I am a huge fan of.

Diorshow Iconic
I love this mascara. It has a soft elastomer brush (yes, I looked it up), which coats all of my lashes in a natural and non-clumping fashion. This is not as dramatic as the original Diorshow mascara, so I use this mainly for daytime.

MAC Slimshine Lipstick in Voile
I Back To Mac'd for this product, and boy am I happy I did! This is a gorgeous lipstick and it is super moisturising! It's like a cross between a lipstick and a gloss!! On the lips it looks like a pale golden sparkly colour. Very wearable and fun for a night out :)

Too Faced Beauty Balm in Grapefruit
My trusted lipgloss in a jar, how I adore thee (which I have mentioned many times on here).
This is my everyday gloss/balm. It looks just like the colour in the container when it's on your lips, it moisturises & smells like grapefruit! What more could a girl ask for?!

Barry M Nail Paints in Berry & Strawberry Ice Cream
Ooooo, I luuuuuuuve these!! Perfect pastel colours for spring. Amazing quality, texture & colour.
You've done it again, Barry M!!

Midnight Fantasy Eau De Parfum by Britney Spears
This bottle is to die for & the smell is amazing. My 'go-to' perfume for any night out. I get so many compliments when I wear this! I seriously suggest that you check this out if you haven't already ;)

Just for fun I have added two more non-beauty related products to my list,
which I will have in my 'Monthly Favourites' posts from now on:

Jewellery Of The Month
(simply the jewellery I have been wearing the most)
I have been using this little silver key necklace everyday since I got it a few weeks ago
(£6 from Debenhams). It's on a medium length thin silver chain. So cute!

Film of the month
(A film I have been obsessed with this month, but not necessarily a newly released film...)
I have owned this film for probably 2 years, but this month I kind of re-discovered how much I love it! Definitely on my top 10 favourite films of all time list.
It is romantic, beautiful, inspiring & heartbreaking - ♥♥♥

Hope you enjoyed my monthly favourites!

Leave a comment or question and I will heart you forever :D

A Barry M delivery!

Two days ago I put an order in at Barry M for 3 of the 4 new spring nail paints, and today they came (very impressed with the quick delivery)!

They are super pretty, just like I suspected ;)

Lemon Ice Cream, Strawberry Ice Cream, Berry Ice Cream.

After a quick application...

Berry Ice Cream

Strawberry Ice Cream

Lemon Ice Cream

I have to say that Berry & Strawberry are my favourites, they are absolutely beautiful colours!

Lemon I'll use in the summer, no doubt ;)

19 January 2010

Nails of the day

Whilst on the subject of Barry M, here's my nails of the day:

Barry M - 273 Raspberry

This is the third day I've worn it...

Have you got Barry M on your nails today?

My Barry M Nail Paints

I have to say that out of all the different nail polishes I have tried (including OPI), Barry M is my favourite. You get a lot for the prize (£2.95), the quality is really, really good, and the range of colours is great!

On a grey day, or if you just fancy a 'pick-me-up', I suggest that you treat yourself to a Barry M polish.
You won't regret it! ;)

My collection is as follows (and it is forever growing):

Collection w/names:

Top row (left to right): 289 Gold, 304 Mint Green, 285 no name on the bottle but it is a sparkly soft grass green colour, 297 Blue Glitter, 273 Raspberry, 305 Pink Flamingo.

Bottom row (left to right): 288 Silver, 54 3 in 1 Clear, 298 Green Glitter, 287 Aqua Blue, 292 Navy, 150 Red Glitter, 264 Pink Iridesent.

Clearly my favourite nail colours are blue, green and red! :D

But if I had to recommend one particular Barry M polish, it would be...

This basecoat, topcoat and nail hardener is seriously amazing! I used to have really brittle nails before I started using this, but now I make sure to put a layer of this under my nail polish (and on top too of course) and not only will the nail polish last for days (close to a week, I'd say), my nails are in perfect condition!! Bye bye horrible weak nails! So for £2.95 you actually get 3 great products!! (haha, I sound like I'm doing a commercial! I'm really not though, just love this product so much). I can't live without this now.
"It's you and me, basecoat/topcoat/nail hardener, till death do us part!!"

:D

Which Barry M nail paints do you own? Or are you planning on buying any?

13 January 2010

Products I would like to try in 2010

This is a tag that's been going around, and I thought it looked like fun :)

JUICY COUTURE PERFUME

Either the original perfume or the 'Couture Couture' one - preferably both! Keep smelling these in Boots and I just can't get enough of them. I need one!!

MAC LIPSTICKS

I already own a couple of MAC lipsticks, like Angel, Hue and Creme Cup, but I would like to try some more 'crazy' colours like bright red and purples in 2010.

CHANEL BLACK NAILPOLISH

I've been wanting this for ages! It's gorgeous.

DERMALOGICA SKIN CARE RANGE IN SENSITIVE

I have used a trial kit of this amazing skin care range in sensitive. I am prone to spots on my chin and redness around my nose, and the sensitive cleanser, toner and moisturiser cleared it all up. Bit expensive, but worth it for the result it gives.

REDKEN ALL SOFT HAIR RANGE

I'll have anything from this range. I think/hope it will help my long, dry hair...

OPI NAIL POLISHES

I want every colour! It's my favourite nail polish.

BARRY M DAZZLE DUSTS

I have never actually tried any of these, which is weird cause I own at least 10 Barry M nail polishes (so I obviously adore the brand). For some reason, I never have the money to pick up one of these colourful babies, but in 2010 I will! ;)
