YSL Long-lasting eye pencil in Woody Brown.

Absolutely love this eyeliner! It's perfect for smudging into the upper lash line, it doesn't transfer and doesn't budge. Puuuuurrrfect!

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream Skin Protectant and Lip Protectant
Amazing little multi-talented product, how I adore thee...

This humble pot has at least 8 very useful purposes:

As an in-flight moisture boost to prevent your skin from drying out

Sweep over your legs after shaving or waxing to prevent dryness or irritation

Relieve minor cases of sunburn

For a perfectly shaped eyebrow arch, simply smooth brows into place with a dab of Eight Hour Cream

Save and protect your skin from drying sun, wind and minor skin irritations

It's the perfect antidote for rough heels and soles

Use on your eyelids, cheekbones and lips to give them a fresh, dewy glow

Add to dry cuticles to keep them soft, supple and perfectly manicured

I use my little pot for all of the above. Especially love how well it works to soften my heels and keeps my brows in place.

And I have always loved the lip balm - SPF15, moisturising and nourishing...can't ask for more :)

NARS Penny Lane

This is my favourite blush of the moment!

This nude pink cream blush is absolutely gorgeous on my (now) winter pale skin. It is so creamy and easy to blend, it works as a blush on its own or as a base for a powder blush, and it gives me natural and healthy looking glowy skin. New FAVOURITE!!!

And I use this brush from Sephora to apply my dear Penny Lane:
#45

Together they are magic :D

What is your current go-to blush?

Colour of the moment...

I am loving olive/khaki clothes and makeup at the moment.

The perfect fall colour. Me loves!

Whilst on the subject...

... of Sally Hansen nail products, this amazing cuticle massage cream is saving the appearance of my poor cuticles these days.
This lovely little pot contains a nice apricot scented orange cream, which I rub or massage in around every cuticle at night when they look particularly dry, hard or just generally unhealthy (so not every night, although you can do that as well if you want to be really good to your nails) ;)

Then I wake up the next day and 'voila' - not a single dry patch in sight! :D

It is even supposed to improve circulation and stimulate healthy new nail growth!

The pot costs about £5-6 in Boots, but you only use a tiny bit of the cream at a time, so it
will last you FOREVER!

I am clearly loving Sally Hansen at the moment, so another 10/10 from me :)

My new nail polish saviour!

I am in love with this Sally Hansen top coat that I purchased a few weeks ago!

I simply HAD to buy this after watching several youtube beauty gurus rave about this product. I found it in Boots (I believe Superdrug also sell this) for £6.45 and I have been using it ever since, every time that I do a new colour on my nails.

It's easily applied, a rather thick clear coat will seal the colour on and instead of chipping after 4-5 days, my nail polishes now last at least 8-10 days! Frankly, it's a dream come true. I don't know what I'd do now without this product ♥

I adore the shine that this product gives to my nails too. The mirror shine statement on the bottle is true!

All in all a 10/10 from me :)

Have you used this product?

L'Oreal Professionnel Vitamino Color

Vitamino Color Shampoo:
Creamy-light shampoo that uses Incell Hydro-Resist double-locking technology. The protecting shampoo, specifically designed for coloured hair, prolongs colour radiance intensity with a lightweight film that repels water, helping to protect colour and enhance shine.

Vitamino Color Conditioner:
This colour-radiance protecting conditioner enriched with Incell Hydro-Resist double-locking technology seals the hair fibre to help keep colour in and water out. The more regularly you condition, the softer and radiant your coloured hair becomes.
Vitamino Color Masque:
This nourishing masque enriched with Incell Hydro-Resist double-locking technology targets weakened areas of the hair and wraps each hair with a lightweight film to protect against everyday wear and tear, which can zap colour radiance intensity. Hair is intensely nourished, and protected in just 60 seconds.

Don't you just love it when you find something that really works and that's worth every penny?!

This line of products have seriously changed my hair from dull, coarse and unmanageble to soft, shiny and healthy.

Not only does this hair care range take care of my coloured hair, but for some wonderful reason it also completely tames my thick and crazy lion's mane! Not many products that say that... :D

I have been using these 3 items religiously for the last couple of months, and although these products are on the pricey side (about £10 a bottle), I can't see myself switching to another hair care range for a LONG time.

I'm in love :)

... Revlon nail polishes!
How come I've never used these before?! For some reason I have been ignoring Revlon in Boots/Superdrug and instead only been going for Barry M and Rimmel...

But now my new love is Revlon, which cost a little bit more (£6 something), but the quality is great and they are so easy to apply!

They have some amazing colours as well. Minted is my favourite so far, but I have at least 10 other colours on my to-buy list so next week I may have a new favourite :)

What's your favourite Revlon nail polish? Which colour NEEDS to be in my collection?

... my MAC Opulash mascara!

The biggest, baddest, bouffant lashes EVER are making noise with their sexy sweep. Opulash creates aesthetic extremes when it gets going, for a dramatic end look. Superlative separation, sublime innovation: Everything a M∙A∙C Artist lives for!

Big, fat, full, bouffant lashes! Dramatic density and curl achieved with a giant brush! Fibres go in all directions for thick, rich, even application with no clumping. Long-wearing formula – up to 15 hours – quickly thickens lashes, root to tip. Contains natural beeswax.(MAC website)

What I think:
It is amazing, and most definitely the best MAC mascara that I have ever tried.

I love, love, LOVE the volume this mascara gives my lashes and it is super easy to use (meaning NO clumping). There is not much to say really, the MAC description above is TRUE.

New holy grail mascara, for sure! :D

My Clinique skincare routine

I change my skincare A LOT, as I quickly get bored and want to try new products.

But I always go back to Clinique, and when I do, I realise nothing beats it! Nothing makes my skin feel more awake, clean and fresh.

I am currently having a love affair with Clinique (again!) and here is what I do on most days, morning and night.

Cleanse:
I willl use one of these to remove my makeup.

Wash-Away Gel cleanser is perfect for night time as it is cooling and tingling. This is great for when my skin is especially oily.

Rinse-Off Foaming Cleanser is a creamy white mousse which lathers with a bit of water. It makes my skin very soft and is very mild, gentle and moisturising.

Take The Day Off is perfect for the morning. I rub it in my skin (no water) before I rinse well.

After this my skin is well prepared for the 3-Step skin care regime...

3 - Step:

I think people are pretty familiar with the 3-Step system.

Step 1 (cleanse) is the liquid facial soap. I have it in oily combination to oily. I only need a small pump of this soap to clean my entire face really well. This will remove the remainder of your makeup & take care of excess oiliness etc.

Step 2 (exfoliate) is the clarifying lotion. This makes all the difference. It is pretty strong, but I love what it does. This deflakes the skin's surface to smooth and reveal clearer skin. (This also works as spot treatment!)

Step 3 (moisturise) is my favourite part. The Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel is simply one of a kind. No other moisturiser sinks into my skin as quick, and makes my face feel as soft as a baby's bum! Even hours after applying this, I can touch my cheek and it seriously feels like silk. I have the gel one, not the lotion one, as my skin tends to be oily.

More moisture:

On some days my skin needs extra moisture. More than what my darling Dramatically Different can offer.
I will then use Superdefense, which has an SPF of 25! This is a thick and luxurious cream.

I use Clinique's All About Eyes cream every day. It is peach in colour, light in consistency, full of moisture and feels great on my delicate eye area.

Exfoliation:

Once a week I will exfoliate with either of these two. I love them both. They are not too rough on the skin, smell nice (minty!) and they leave my skin amazingly soft!

I hope that was somewhat informative ;)

Let me know if you use Clinique and is as happy with it as me!

... MAC Plushglass in Pretty Plush

I have mentioned this before on my blog, but I just can't help but LOVE this product!

Pretty Plush is pink and pearly in colour and it has these tiny little sparkles in the gloss which makes my lips look AMAZING!

This is quite a sheer gloss, so not for somebody who craves *boom* colour... (if you know what I mean).

MAC states:
Gives a cool-warm, vanilla buzz to the lips. Moisturises, soothes and visibly plumps the lips to make them look luxuriously healthy and well-conditioned. Contains vitamin E for added environmental protection.

I can't really say that this gloss plumps my lips, at least not as much as Buxom does, but it definitely moisturises and makes them look healthy and kind of delicious... ;)

... YSL Volume Effet Faux Cils mascara in Sublime Grey

To be honest I love this mascara mostly for its colour. Grey is a nice natural colour and a fun alternative to brown for daytime wear.

I still prefer Maybelline Colossal when it comes to the brush and the easiness of the application, but I love the result I get with this grey YSL mascara... hello volume!

Oh, and the mascara smells like perfume - LOVE THAT! :D

... MAC's mineralize blush in Moon River

Moon River is so pretty in the pan (look at all the different colours!) and works either as an amazing pale pink blush or as a shimmery highlighter if you use the multicoloured side.

I use this as a daytime blush, as it is quite subtle. It gives me a sweet pink glow.

I just adore this product!

My new crush - YSL Gloss Volupte

I purchased the YSL Gloss Volupte a couple of days ago,
and... I AM IN LOVE!

It is a cross between a lipstick and a lipgloss. It is suuuuuper moisturising,
gives a wonderful tint to your lips & smells like watermelon!

YSL states:
The innovative encounter of the sensual texture of a gloss and the irresistibly feminine gesture of applying a lipstick. Translucent as a lollipop, the texture deliciously melts on the lips, giving them a tantalizing shine and tangy colours.

Shade 6 --Preeeeeetty!

I'm definitely getting more colours!

... my NARS Orgasm blush!

This is so weird, because it is only a few weeks ago that I mentioned in a post on here that I didn't understand the 'Orgasm' hype. And that it didn't work on my skin :(

But this week, for some unknown reason, I decided to give it another chance and I have been wearing it everyday... and it works!! I totally see it now, the fuss that people make over this blush. It is beautiful, and even better,  I can pull it off! Hurrrraaaaaayy! :D

My new spring love

Hope you are all having a fab saturday night, my lovelies!
